Return to Rescue Animals
Mr. Jangles is a new intake so is currently in his minimum quarantine period.
Mr. Jangles is an older corn snake believed to be male and around 13 years old. He was surrendered as his previous keeper was unfortunately struggling with the cost of his care so felt it best.
He was previously housed in a 4ft vivarium with an overhead heat bulb, aspen substrate and lots of decor. He was fed a large mouse every week.
Mr. Jangles arrived quite overweight so has been put on a diet. He also showed some symptoms of a respiratory infection, so will be visiting the vet to be checked out. He is very friendly to handle and will be a great first reptile.
A sweet boy who will be a fantastic first reptile!
Mr. Jangles will need a 4ft vivarium as a minimum, to allow space to exercise and move around. A caged, overhead heat source should be fitted with a suitable thermostat to maintain a warm-side temperature of 32C. The cool side should sit below 23C. A low-level UV bulb should be provided – 5-7% ideally. Mr. Jangles should be fed a medium mouse every 2/3 weeks.
