Ready for rehoming…

Caramel is a hypomelanistic corn snake, 2 years old. He has been probed as male. He was reluctantly handed in by previous owners due to lack of time.

Caramel is is lovely condition, eating well. His faecal test came back with a high load of Coccidia, which was successfully treated. He has shed perfectly in our care also.

His owners advised he is good to handle, and seems to be so far, as well as being very curious and inquisitive! He has been absolutely fantastic to handle, despite giving him regular treatments via feeding tube. He has shown no signs of aggressive/defensive behaviour while in our care.

Shaping up to be a lovely snake, perfect for new snake owners.

Care Requirements:

Caramel will need a 4x1x1ft vivarium as a minimum, to allow space to exercise and move around. A caged, overhead heat source should be fitted with a suitable thermostat to maintain a warm-side temperature of 32C. The cool side should sit below 23C. A low-level UV bulb should be provided – 5% ideally. He is on a standard diet of a large mouse every 2-3 weeks.

Our care guide for corn snakes can be found HERE.
