Return to Rescue Animals

Ready for Rehoming…
Cracker is a young royal python whose sex is unknown. We were contacted after Cracker was found in an abandoned house (alongside Crystal, a boa). They were signed over to our care and became an intake at the rescue.
As an abandoned animal, we don’t know anything about Cracker’s previous care, but they were found in a dirty vivarium with no heat.
Cracker arrived quite dehydrated and underweight. They were given fluids at the vets and are now doing much better. They have been super friendly to handle and would make a good first reptile.
A little cutie looking for a fresh start!
Care Requirements:
Cracker will need a 4ft wooden vivarium as a minimum, to allow space to exercise and move around. A caged over-head heat source should be fitted with a suitable thermostat to maintain a warm-side temperature of 32C. The cool side should sit below 23C. A low-level UVB tube light of 5-7% should be provided. Cracker is usually fed a small mouse every 1/2 weeks, but we sometimes vary food sizes to add some variety!
Our care guide for royal pythons can be found HERE.
